Pile effect with crochet

You can make pile effect - rug surface - also with a crochet!

Loop: double crochet.

Links are on every other row.

If links are small the surface will be pebbly.

When you make bigger links they can be cut and it is like a "real" pile surface.

When crocheting the links can be made with a spatula or needle. Then they will be even.

You can also crochet links with fingers but it is more difficult - at least for a beginner.
