Design and materials
At first you should think or even draw what type of muffin you would like
When you know what type of muffin you want to make choose your materials that fit your vision
You will atleast need:
The bottom of a can
Fabric
Scissors
Pins
A needle and thread
Cotton
Iron on adhesive
Hot glue

The base

Draw 1cm seam allowance onto your pattern. (You can use for example baking paper to make it)
Cut the pattern out

Place the patter onto your fabric and secure it by using pins!
Cut the fabric; follow the lines of your pattern
Decoration

You can make a decoration piece that goes on top of your muffin. If you decide to make one follow these steps:
Make a mold out of baking paper that you want your decoration shape to be
Iron a piece of IRON-ON ADHESIVE to the back side of your decoration and don't forget to use cover paper.

Using your paper mold that you made before. cut the shape out
Lastly remove the cover paper

Iron your decoration onto the "muffin base"

Sew a tense zigzag or straight stitch onto the edge of the decorative part



Don't forget to sew zigzag onto the edges of the muffin base
Finishing the muffin

Sew the outline by hands and tighten the thread

Fill the muffin with cotton and sew the hole up
Remember to cut the extra treads off
The last step is to glue the muffin onto a can with hot glue! You can decorate the can however you like, but remember it is the paper of the muffin.
At last your fantasy muffin pincushion is ready!
